Medical Outreach

Our Projects

In Sotokoi Village, The Gambia, the medical team conducted diagnosis and treatment for the sick residents. They attended to various cases and provided free consultations to 66 individuals.

The outreach program also included conducting deliveries, treating minor cases, free medications and providing free ambulance services to convey patients to major health centers in Brikama or other tertiary hospitals within The Gambia.

Food Bank

IMWA Mission food bank project aims at addressing the needs of the hungry and less privileged individuals in various locations across The Gambia. The initiative was undertaken with the objective of providing essential food supplies to those who are in dire need.

The program focused on reaching out to communities that are most vulnerable and facing food scarcity. Through this effort, IMWA Mission aims to alleviate hunger and contribute to the well-being of the underprivileged population.

The food bank program was conducted in different regions of The Gambia to ensure that the distribution was widespread and inclusive. By actively engaging in such humanitarian activities, IMWA Mission displayed its commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate and creating a more equitable society.

IMWA provides support to new Christian converts, through its safe house project. The safe houses are built to serve as refuge to the Muslim Background Believers (MBBs) and other Christian Converts, who are severely persecuted for accepting Christ.

The essence of this project is to help them overcome the trauma of the persecution they have encountered and also help them adapt to their new life and family in Christ.
